We are excited to announce Victoria Rivard in the role of Martha, Merry, Josephine, Charity Singer/Dancer in our production of “A Christmas Carol” A New Musical. World Premiere of “A Christmas Carol” is a new musical with music and lyrics by Daniel and Tami Orama and directed by Bryan Radtke. I have the honor of highlighting each cast member. In the end, there would be no show without them. I can't tell you how appreciative we are of the cast. Victoria, who plays the role of Martha, Merry, Josephine, Charity Singer/Dancer, is extremely proud to be joining the cast of “A Christmas Carol.” Victoria lives in Berkeley Heights, NJ and is a 6th grade student at Columbia Middle School. Her number one passion in life is musical theater, and her dream is to perform on Broadway. She made her off-Broadway debut in May 2014 as Flotsam in a “Little Mermaid Jr.” production. Other off-Broadway credits include: Sharpay (High School Musical Jr.) and Brooke (Legally Blonde). Victoria spent her last summer training at Paper Mill Playhouse and preparing for the “New Voices” concert, where she performed this past August. She is an avid reader and also enjoys swimming. She plays the flute, is fluent in both French and English, and her favorite hobby is making fun videos with her friends. Last but not least, she is also a dedicated tap dancer who wakes up her family to the sound of her beat every morning! Victoria would like to thank her mom, dad and her brother Jonathan for their love and for always letting her pursue her dreams. She also thanks Daniel Orama and Bryan Radtke for allowing her to enjoy this valuable experience. Victoria is a multi talented young lady who can sing, dance, and act. There is no doubt, that with continued hard work, she will achieve her dreams of Broadway. Come to think of it, we are on the same road as all the big Broadway shows. She is pretty close! It has been such a joy to have her a part of “A Christmas Carol”. I leave you with one of my favorite Martha lyrics, “Remember that day when I hid in your room, I tripped and fell and broke your favorite perfume”.
